MISSION:

The mission of the Thayer Jr. High and & High School library is to provide the means and materials by which students and staff become effective users of information for both academic and personal benefit.

The media center is designed to provide easy research tools for staff, students, and patrons.  Feel free to use our resources or any links provided.  Some links are licensed through MOREnet and the authentication works through your IP address.  Many of these must be used on campus computers.

LIBRARY POLICIES:

1. Books are checked out for 2 weeks and can be rechecked.
2. Books should be returned on time.  The charge for overdue books is 5 cents per school day per item overdue.
3. Lost or damaged books will be paid for before checking out again.  By the last day of school all lost or damaged books must be paid for.
4. Library material, both text and visual form is selected and puchased based on student and teacher request and curriculum needs.
5. No food or drink is allowed in the library or computer lab.
